• 4(9) For the year 2003, the three directors representing the cow calf sector and the director representing the backgrounder sector shall be elected by the members of the Advisory Council as constituted in section 6, from among themselves.
• 4(10) For the years 2003, 2004 and 2005, the three directors representing the feedlot sector shall be appointed by the Ontario Cattle Feeders Association for a one year term.
• 4(12) For the year 2003, the cow calf representatives and the regional representatives shall be elected as follows: one director for one year, one director for two years and one director for three years; the backgrounder representative shall be elected for two years and one of the at large directors shall be elected for one year and the other for three years.

2. Edit Section 4(11) to remove reference to Subsections 4(10) and 4(12).

3. Edit Sections 4(2), 4(3) and 4(4) to remove reference to Sections to 4(9), 4(10) and 4(11).

COMMITTEES (SECTION 16)

4. Remove Section 16(1)(d):

• 16(1)(d) For the purposes of election to the Feedlot committee in 2003, 2004 and 2005, the Ontario Cattle Feeders Association shall appoint six members to the Feedlot committee. At least one of the voting delegates appointed to the Feedlot committee shall be from the region designated as Eastern or Northern Ontario. In the event that OCFA fails to name a representative from the region designated as Eastern Ontario or Northern Ontario, the Advisory Committee shall elect an additional representative to the committee from among the members of the Advisory Committee resident in the region designated as Eastern/Northern Ontario and who is also designated as feedlot.
  
  After 2005, feedlot reps to the Feedlot Committee shall be shall elected from / by voting delegates identified as feedlot at the Annual General Meeting. Also propose removal of any regional / geographic requirement of feedlot representatives.

5. In section 16(1)(b), remove reference to section 16(1)(d); removed above.

6. Add a new clause after Section 16(1)(f) as follows for clarification purposes: "The total number of members on each of the Cow Calf and Feedlot Committees shall be 11."

AMENDMENTS (SECTION 23)

7. Amend wording "eligible voting delegates" to say "eligible delegates voting". This clarifies that the total number of delegates that vote shall be the number used to determine the two-thirds majority that is needed for votes on constitutional issues.
