What's on Canada's Dinner Table?
Canadians eat a wide variety of foods. On average, a Canadian consumes the following amounts of these foods every year.

The average  person in Canada eats 48 kg of red meat every year. Red meat consists of beef, pork, lamb and goat. The largest portion of this consumption is beef.

Beef - Everywhere, Everyday! is about beef and beef products that are produced by Canadian farmers in the beef production system.

This resource guide offers a variety of activities for students in grades four to six. The activities focus on the themes of systems, careers, technology and nutrition. These activities will help students understand the origins of an important food they consume and non-food products they use. The activities provide knowledge and opportunities to develop and practice the skills to reach the achievement levels outlined in the new curriculum documents for Ontario.
