Market Information Service  (updated daily by Ontario Cattlemen's Association)  

The purpose of this service is to assemble and consolidate cattle sales information and make this information available to Ontario cattlemen. Information is provided primarily by Ontario auction markets, packing plants and the DTN service.

Daily Summary Reports              also available for                2005-2006-2007-2008-2009-2010	(updated by 4:30 pm) A snapshot of the beef industry! Features Ontario rail grade cattle trade (as supplied by Ontario producers), live cattle sales information (as supplied by auction markets), U.S. trade, Alberta direct trade from the previous day, closing futures for live cattle, feeder cattle, corn, soybeans and Canadian dollar, Canadian and USDA weekly kill information. Bred cow sales when available.
Noon Summary Report	(updated by 12:00 noon) Features Ontario live cattle prices (fed and replacement), U.S. cash cattle trade, Alberta and mid-session quotes for the Canadian dollar, live cattle, feeder cattle, corn and soybean futures.
Ontario Auction Market Reports	(updated by 10:30 am) Up to date sale results from various auction markets across Ontario (both computerized and non-computerized). Co-operation from computerized auction markets make it possible for OCA to generate daily and weekly reports.
Weekly Summary Report              also available for             2005-2006-2007-2008-2009-2010	This report gives a summary of all the above mentioned markets for the week. Ontario live cattle and replacement cattle are published with volume and weighted prices. Also covered on this report is the Alberta market and U.S. market for the week. Boxed beef prices for Canada and the U.S. are included as well as the futures. A brief commentary can be found on the last page of this report.
