US cash cattle trade on Thursday afternoon was light in the north with
prices $1.0-$2.00 higher from $145.00-$146.00 dressed. This morning
packer inquiry is improving in all areas with bids currently reported at
$90.00-$91.00 live. Light trade is developing in the north with prices
$1.50-$2.50 higher than last week. Asking prices are holding firm at
$94.00 live and $147.00-$148.00 dressed. Active trade is expected to
surface at any time. |
