prices from 55.00-64.00 sales to $83.50. |

on offer. Veal calves are selling on a good strong active trade
with beef veal calves fully steady to last week and Holstein veal calves
$2.00-$3.00 higher. |

U.S. Trade (U.S. funds) |
|
U.S. cash cattle trade was moderate in the south and active in the north
late Wednesday with southern trade $2.00-$2.50 lower at $95.50-$97.00
live, most at $97.00. Northern sales were $1.00-$2.00 lower from
$152.00-$153.50 dressed with majority of business at $153.00.
Today some clean up deals could surface but for the most part it appears
that business has been finished early before the long weekend. |
