Canadian Beef Cattle Infobase - CD Rom

Beef Infobase CD Rom
Version two of the Beef Cattle Infobase CD ROM is now available from the office of the Ontario Cattlemen’s Association. The CD ROM is divided into two parts. The first, called the Canadian Beef Cattle Infobase, contains more than 700 articles including fact sheets, technical bulletins and articles. Included are 20 years worth of University of Guelph Research Reports, results of Canadian research in beef and crop production, best management practices booklets on no till, water management, soil management, nutrient management planning and other issues related to the beef industry.

Version two, a follow up to the first CD released in 1997, has an easy-to-use table of contents accessible by subject or key word as well as a full text search.

The project has been sponsored by the Ontario Cattlemen’s Association, Canadian Cattlemen’s Association and the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.

The CDs are available for $50 plus GST by contacting the office of the Ontario Cattlemen’s Association.
